On behalf of the McCabe Elementary administration, faculty and staff, it is our pleasure to welcome you to our website. 

We are excited about the current school year and with the support of our staff, students, parents and community at large we look forward to providing our students with a successful and productive learning experience. 

Our focus is to provide our students with a quality education based on Common Core State Standards.  In an effort to support student learning our site provides all students with Guided Reading instruction as well as English Language Development.  In addition to academic support we practice PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports) to build good character as our students learn to respect themselves and others. 

McCabe Elementary continues to pride itself in providing a multitude of learning experiences for our students and works toward building strong school-parent partnerships.

As the principal of McCabe Elementary, I believe the success of our students lies in a collective effort of our students, faculty, parents and community members.  I cordially invite you to become active participants in our school activities and committees as your voice is an integral part of our success.  Throughout the year we offer a variety of activities for you to attend such as: school site council meetings, DLAC, Migrant Parent meetings, parent teacher conferences, sporting events, parent nights and dances.  All of which allow parents to learn a little more about McCabe elementary and what we have to offer.
